Emergency Preparedness

The Office of Emergency Preparedness

The Office of Emergency Preparedness is responsible for ensuring the City of Edmonton mitigates, is prepared for, can respond to and recover from all hazards including natural disasters, technological incidents and human caused incidents. In order to be ready we conduct training and exercises with city staff and stakeholders on a regular basis. Individuals, families and businesses can do their part by being personally prepared and ensure their emergency plans and business continuity plans are ready to go.

Visit the links on the page to find out how you can be better prepared and visit us on Facebook and Twitter.
